Warm Trees idea was brought to Wednesday’s Craft Group by Cheryl Oostermeyer.  Some of the Craft Group kindly took up the challenge to knit/crochet many scarves for the 2017 Warm Trees.

This year the focus is the Yoshino Cherry Tree Forest.  The pink scarves will be assembled into large flowers to create a cascade of the largest knitted flowers in the world, which can be easily seen from the Village Centre.  Other scarves will be used to decorate the groves of other trees around the Arboretum.

This is an opportunity to go to the Arboretum and see the final stage of this project.  All welcome.
